Authors BeLinda, Mintina, and Jay are believers in Christ Jesus. They are members of Jesus is the Light Christian Center in Gainesville, FL (Senior Pastor Geraldine Modican). All are public servants. BeLinda and Jessie both have served in the United States Air Force while BeLinda and Mintina worked for the US government overseas. The trio collaborated on the book ANGEL Conquers the Class Bully by drawing from their personal experiences surrounding the absence of Faith-based superheroes for children.

ANGEL, God’s ‘All ‘iN-spiring Guardian of Eternal Life’, was written to offer children one of the first Christian superheroes. He was inspired by a children’s song I heard in church. This book was written to introduce a new faith-based superhero to children. Our ANGEL descends from above whenever a child calls upon him. Angel is not intended to replace an existing superhero but, rather, to add to the character and virtues that make up a hero. In the book Angel Conquers the Class Bully, Angel shows children how he can turn a situation of sadness and defeat into gladness and victory. His very existence is based on the premise that children can go from being angry and upset at the beginning of the day and being BFFs by the end of that very same day. Angel reminds us that Jesus Christ himself provided us a comforter.
